France
through the centuries

If these walls could talk ...

If you would like to experience history, the Château de Gardemoulin is the right place for you. The Château de Gardemoulin was renovated in the second half of the 19th century and is located in the picturesque Gensac-la-Pallue in Charante.

In the 16th century, the château was destroyed during the protests against France's salt tax. In 1850, the medieval castle was eventually renovated in a neo-Gothic style.

During the French Revolution, it was sold as national property. Today, the Château de Gardemoulin stands for elegance, luxury and modern decadence.

Since 2020, it is privately owned by the well-known success coach Daniel Weinstock and is exclusively open to his guests.
